Microsoft has just launched a brand new personal Email Service which may after all help Microsoft step back in the email business like in the Pre-Gmail days. Outlook.com , named after Microsoft’s extensively used email client Microsoft Outlook is as far apart from Hotmail as anything could be, In fact Microsoft has launched this service from scratch with no links to Hotmail what so ever.
It has No Annoying banner ads like Hotmail , Free Unlimited Mailbox Storage , Built in Skype , finally , a Sleek Metro Style inspired UI and a whole list of new features which make it completely Non-Hotmailish.
Microsoft has officially announced that the release date for its much anticipated upcoming operating system i.e. Windows 8 , will be set to October 26 , 2012. Steven Sinofsky,President of the Windows and Windows Live Division at Microsoft since July 2009, announced this at Microsoft’s annual sales meeting that customers will be able to get Windows 8 whether in the form of an upgrade from older versions of Windows or a new PC starting from October 26 , 2012.
StartApp is a mobile search monetization platform and you may remember it from their September 2011 launch, or perhaps from the big revenue of $4 million the company raised in in just 6 months. But today, 10 months after the initial launch, StartApp is back with the news that its search monetization software has been downloaded more than 150 million times on Android.

According to a message posted by the company over on its forums, they’ve now brought in “an outside team of experts” to assist Dropbox’s own security team in the investigation.

Yahoo got new CEO from Google family
Marissa Mayer, who has been a member of Google’s family since the company’s earliest days, has been appointed CEO of Yahoo. Prior to joining Yahoo, she had become one of the public faces of Google, providing a number of press interviews and appearing at events frequently to speak on behalf of the company.
Nowadays the trend of Large screen smart phones is very popular , and people have ultimately adopted to the brick sized smart phones and they are no longer considered odd. Larger Screens also bring higher resolutions to smart phones and higher pixel density.
Tech Giant LG has just announced a 5″ Full HD LCD panel for Smartphones with 440ppi Pixel Density – which is the highest resolution mobile panel to the date but not the highest pixel density display , as Toshiba holds that spot with 498ppi but its for Tablets.

Well Today I tried posting a picture of someone sick with tweet “Get Better”, but guess what , it didn’t go through. At first I thought it was just some temporary problem but then i tried tweeting it again several times but mysteriously it still didnt go through.I was worried if there is something wrong with my Twitter account. Go ahead Try it yourself Right now.
So I did some research and found out that there are some mysterious words or phrasses that you cannot tweet. I read somewhere that as a child, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s father would yell at him to “Get better”, so Jack eventually banned the phrase from being tweeted.Well nice story but untrue.
